New Faculty

Welcome to Baruch College! We’re so pleased that you’ve joined us. In order to ensure that you have the information and support you need, we’ve assembled a variety of resources appropriate for early-career faculty. The College’s Provost, your school dean, and the City University of New York sponsor a variety of workshops, seminars, and trainings in various areas of faculty effort, including teaching, scholarship, and professional development. To the extent possible, you should avail yourself of these resources. In addition, your department chair is a front-line source of information, mentoring, and support specific to your discipline. Finally, please feel free to call, stop by, or email the Associate Provost for Academic Administration, Faculty Development, and Research, should you have any questions or concerns, particularly around your workload and progress toward tenure, promotion, or earning your Certificate of Continuous Employment (CCE).

New Faculty Orientation

Tentative dates for 2020 New Faculty Orientation: August 17-19, agenda forthcoming
