We need your help in retaining our new freshman and transfer students. Faculty feedback on student performance at mid-semester is essential so that our Advising Center staff has time to intervene.
Our email will ask members of the faculty to use the same criteria to assess students as in the past:
- Academic Difficulty: based on the current level of performance, the student will earn a grade of less than C.
- Attendance: the student has reached or is near the allowable limit of absences.
The email with the survey link will be sent on Monday, October 24 to all faculty members who have first semester freshmen or transfer students in their classes. Please remind members of your faculty to check their Baruch email for this important message.
Although the survey will remain open, we ask that the faculty complete it by Monday, November 7, so that students will be informed of faculty concerns prior to the withdrawal deadline of Thursday, November 10.
