From:  Farhana Hassan, President, Undergraduate Student Government

Baruch’s Undergraduate Student Government is holding a Holiday Drive to collect old books, new/unopened toys and new/gently used clean clothing for the needy this holiday season.

Collection boxes can be found on the 2nd floor of the NVC, next to the Office of Student Life, now until the last day of finals, December 23rd.

Toys will be given to the Lutheran Family Health Center, books to Books for Africa, and clothes to The Bowery Mission.

We invite the entire Baruch community to join us in the holiday spirit to give back to those less fortunate than us.

Best,

Farhana Hassan

RE: Baruch Holiday Drive

Dear Colleagues,

Questions have been raised about the status of one of the organizations mentioned in the email I circulated yesterday (copied below). Please rest assured that we will work with the USG (and other student groups) to ensure that only legitimate charities are the recipients of the generosity of members of the college community.
