playing Beethoven, Bernstein, and Dvorak

Pianist Alon Goldstein, violinist Ilya Kaler, and cellist Amit Peled have joined to form THE TEMPEST TRIO. In 2010 the trio performed the complete Schumann trios at the Seattle Chamber Music Festival and was invited the following year to play the complete Brahms trios. The Four Arts Society invited the trio to be the featured ensemble in a Beethoven festival performing Beethoven trios as well as the Triple Concerto with the Palm Beach Symphony. In April 2011 the trio performed for the first time in Germany and was invited back for the 2013 season. Highlights of the 2012-13 season included a tour in Europe with concerts in Istanbul, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and London, as well as performances in the US in Baltimore, Washington DC, Spartanburg SC, and other cities. The Tempest Trio also recorded their first CD (Dvorak trios) for the Naxos label.  Cellist Amit Peled will be performing on Pablo Casals’s original cello.

For Free Tickets: visit the box office across from the 25th St. entrance of the Vertical Campus or call (646) 312-5073
