Subject: REVISED Spring 2018 Verification of Enrollment Memorandum (February 20-March 2, 2018)

REVISED

From:  Edward D. Adams, Senior Registrar

Dear Spring 2018 Faculty:

The verification of enrollment period for the spring 2018 term has been revised by the central office: it will begin on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 (12:01am) and continue through Friday, March 2, 2018 (11:59pm).

During the verification of enrollment process you are required to verify that all students listed on the roster are actually attending your class. The roster contains officially enrolled students for the course and the default value for the enrollment radio button is “Yes, attended.”  For any student, who has never attended a class and there is no documented evidence of the student’s participation in the course (such as a completed assignment), select the “No, never attended” radio button.

Verification of enrollment is a mandatory CUNY requirement. It is vital that rosters be certified for each one of the course offerings as it affects compliance with federal regulations and students receiving financial aid.  If a roster is not certified, students will be directed to speak with the instructor.

Students attending your course who do not appear on your roster, should be sent to the Registrar’s Office; Library Building, Room 850

If you have not already done so, you must claim your CUNYfirst account in order to submit your spring 2018 verification of enrollment roster. To do so, please click on the following link to claim your account:

https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu

Print the Claim Your Account instructions (PDF)

For instructions on verification of enrollment rosters go to: http//www.baruch.cuny.edu/roster.

If you need assistance with the verification of enrollment roster process, please contact your department assistant or Ms. Jessie Gutierrez in the Registrar’s Office at Yessenia.Gutierrez@Baruch.CUNY.edu.

Sincerely,

Edward D. Adams
