As of this morning, we had verified about 59% of our courses. That compares with an average of about 75% at the other senior colleges—and our own rate of 85% last spring. The central office has allowed us to extend our deadline: please certify your roster as soon as possible.

Once again:  Verification of enrollment is a CUNY requirement. It is vital that rosters be certified for each one of the course offerings as certification affects compliance with federal regulations and students receiving financial aid.  If a roster is not certified, students will be directed to speak with the instructor.

Dear Fall 2018 Faculty:

The verification of enrollment period for the Fall 2018 term will begin on Monday, September 3, 2018 (12:01am) and continue through Sunday, September 16, 2018 (11:59pm).

During the verification of enrollment process you are required to verify that all students listed on the roster are actually attending your class. The roster contains officially enrolled students for the course and the default value for the enrollment radio button is “Yes, attended.”  For any student who has never attended a class and for whom there is no documented evidence of the student’s participation in the course (such as a completed assignment), select the “No, never attended” radio button.

Verification of enrollment is a mandatory CUNY requirement. It is vital that rosters be certified for each one of the course offerings as it affects compliance with federal regulations and students receiving financial aid.  If a roster is not certified, students will be directed to speak with the instructor.

Students attending your course who do not appear on your roster, should be sent to the Registrar’s Office; Library Building, Room 850.
