Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at CUNY

Dear Colleague,

As you know, the second biennial CUNY Faculty Diversity and Inclusion Conference is scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2015, and we are planning for a full slate of thought-provoking, interactive presentations. Will yours be one of them?

The deadline to submit a presentation is fast approaching (Wednesday, January 7, 2015), and I want to be sure you have had the chance to take part in this important aspect of the conference.

As a reminder, you can click here to review the full call for presentations, which includes detailed information on conference themes and objectives. You can submit your presentation through our online submission system.

The aim of the conference is to explore ways to promote sustainable cross-campus collaborations, strengthen recruitment and retention, and foster an inclusive climate. This symposium offers participants an opportunity to share and discuss research findings, ideas, experiences and actions to increase diversity and foster inclusion.

If you have any questions about the conference or what we're looking for in our presentations, please contact Maryann McKenzie (maryann.mckenzie@cuny.edu).

Thank you and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!

Sincerely,

Jennifer S. Rubain, Esq.
University Dean for Recruitment and Diversity
