Two Items Related to Final Exams

 

1. This is a reminder to all members of the faculty that:

• the final examination period in fall 2016 extends from Wednesday, December 14 to Wednesday, December 21; and that
• no final examinations should be given during regularly scheduled classes, including the last class periods of the semester.

2.  “Conflict” Exams

The last day for students to make arrangements to take “conflict” examinations (or to avoid having to take three exams on one day) is Tuesday, December 6.

Any student who has a conflict or who has three examinations on one day should be referred to the appropriate office for advisement and instructions: 

 

            Zicklin School of Business

                Undergraduate - NVC 5-215 (Center for Academic Advisement)

                Graduate MS - NVC 13-221

                Graduate MBA – NVC 13-280

 

            Weissman School of Arts and Science

                Undergraduate - NVC 5-215 (Center for Academic Advisement)

 

            Marxe School of Public and International Affairs

                Undergraduate - NVC 5-215 (Center for Academic Advisement)

                Graduate PA Majors - 135 E. 22nd Street, Room 408

 

Students with three examinations on one day:

Students with three day examinations on the same day will take the third examination on Tuesday, December 20 at 1:00pm in NVC 3-150. Students with three evening examinations on the same day will take the third examination on Monday, December 19 at 8:15pm in NVC 5-150.

 

Students with conflicts (two examinations scheduled at the same time):

Examinations for students with conflicts (two examinations at the same time) will be given in NVC 3-150 on Tuesday, December 20 at 1:00pm. Conflict examinations for evening students will be given on Monday, December 19 at 8:15pm in NVC 5-150.
