From: Dave Christy, Provost

To: Baruch College Faculty with EXPERTISE in one or more of the following countries:

Six months ago Governor Cuomo announced an initiative to enhance trade and economic development between New York State and the world.  The first round of this project identified five countries of special opportunity to which Cuba was recently added:

Six teams of state officials, staff, and members of the private sector have been formed. Chancellor Milliken would like CUNY to provide ‘briefings’ to these teams by members of our faculty who have relevant knowledge and experience that would enhance the ability of each team to uncover opportunities. Faculty knowledge and experience could be social/cultural, business practices, knowledge about firms and industries where strong partnerships might be developed, or knowledge about national trade policies and issues.

If you are willing to be included on one or more of these six lists of faculty with expertise, please send the information requested below to me at by Friday, March 20. I will submit your name to the Chancellor, who will form CUNY-wide lists for the Governor’s office.

This is a chance for the expertise of our faculty to be recognized!
