El Gran Poema de Nadie (The Great Poem by No One) is a collaborative project developed by Prof. Isolina Ballesteros. Inspired by international workshops run by former Baruch professor Dionisio Cañas (see http://www.elgranpoemadenadie.com), Prof. Ballesteros assigns groups of students to collect Spanish words they find in the NYC streets; the students then assemble the words and images into banner-sized collage poems. Some of the banners will be displayed during the lunch, and students Elizabeth Jimenez, Lai Chen Wu and Mateus Braga will talk about creating them.
