From: Edward D. Adams, Senior Registrar

Dear Fall 2014 Faculty,

CUNYfirst Grading via Faculty Self-Service is currently available for Fall 2014.  The deadline for grade submission is 11:59pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014.

CUNYfirst Grading is Baruch’s on-line grading system that allows you to submit final grades on-line from on- or off-campus. Once you have entered and reviewed your grade roster, you must then click on the “POST” button in order for your final grades to be officially submitted.  Once your grades have been posted, the students will be able to view them instantaneously via CUNYfirst Student Self-Service.

After CUNYfirst grading is closed, all students with ungraded courses will be assigned a “Z” grade and the students will be directed to the faculty member concerning their grade.

Failure to enter your grades on time will cause great inconvenience to the students as well as to you (you will need to submit your grades to the Registrar’s Office).

  • We need to have these grades in order to confer fall 2014 degrees.
  • Students on probation may not register for the winter/spring 2015 terms until their fall grades have been entered and reviewed.
  • Some of your courses are pre-requisites for winter and spring courses.
  • Many students depend on their company tuition re-imbursement plan to meet their tuition payment obligation to the college.

Thank you,

Edward D. Adams
