Owing to the CUNY First account issues many users have experienced, the Office of the Registrar is extending the grading period through 11:59pm on Sunday, January 3. We are grateful to those who have already submitted their grades.

Dear Fall 2015 Faculty,

Grading via Faculty Self-Service will be available for the fall 2015 term from Wednesday, December 16, 2015 (12:01am) through Wednesday, December 30, 2015 (11:59pm).

Baruch’s on-line grading system via CUNYfirst allows you to submit final grades from on or off-campus. Once you have entered, reviewed, and saved your grade roster, you must then click on “submit” grades to the Registrar. This will prompt the “POST” button: you must click on “POST” in order for your final grades to be officially submitted.  Once your grades have been posted, the students will be able to view them instantaneously via CUNYfirst Student Self-Service.


After CUNYfirst grading is closed, all students with ungraded courses will be assigned a “Z” grade. The students will be directed to the faculty member concerning their grade.


All late grade submissions will be accepted only on the print screen of your roster (signed and dated) to ensure accuracy of names and prior grades awarded.


You are able to assign the grade of WU to students on the final grade roster provided they have not taken the final exam.


Failure to enter your grades on time will cause great inconvenience to the students as well as to you (you will need to submit your grades to the Registrar’s Office).

•             We need to have these grades in order to confer fall 2015 degrees.

•             Students on probation may not register for the winter and spring 2016 terms until their fall 2015 grades have been entered and reviewed.

•             Some of your courses are pre-requisites for winter and spring courses.

•             Some students depend on their company’s tuition re-imbursement plan to meet their tuition payment obligation to the college.
