Holocaust Memorial Week

This week, due to Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day), we are dedicating an entire week to the memorial of the Holocaust. In addition to a full schedule of related events, each day will include a candle-lighting ceremony along with a brief reading of the story of someone who perished in the Holocaust. Here is the schedule of programming for the week:

Monday, April 13th
12:30 pm: A brief video of the story of Helga Weiss, a survivor, followed by a discussion

Tuesday, April 14th
12:40 pm: "Why Do We Remember?" with Ask Big Questions, followed by Yiddish poetry reading

Wednesday, April 15th
6:00 pm: Screening of a film about the Holocaust

Thursday, April 16th
12:40 pm: Listen to the story of a survivor, followed by a ceremony, short processional, and a "Walk to Remember"

Friday, April 17th
