From: Diana Hamilton, Director, Baruch College Writing Center
Dear Members of the Faculty:
The Lexington Review publishes research, scholarship, and creative work by Baruch College undergraduate and graduate students. We welcome submissions from any discipline, and are especially interested in student work that facilitates teaching and learning. In other words, it doesn't have to be perfect—it just needs to be something from which other students could learn.
Our hope is that this journal serves as a resource for both faculty and students. If you'd like to help improve student writing in your classes, send us one or two pieces that provide strong models. You can use them in your classroom, and we'll use them in the Writing Center to help other students understand the expectations of and approaches to college writing.
Email your nominations to TheLexingtonReview@baruch.cuny.edu in whatever form you have. Submissions are always welcome, and we work through them on a rolling basis. We understand that you may not have electronic copies of your student’s writing, but if you send us the writers’ names, emails, and any other details, we can reach out to invite them to submit.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
All my best,
Diana Hamilton, PhD
