The deadline to enter the Mishkin Gallery’s juried show is January 27!

The exhibition will be held at the Sidney Mishkin Gallery, 135 East 22nd Street at Lexington, New York, NY 10010 from March 3 - March 28, 2017.

The opening reception will take place on Thursday, March 2, 2017, 6-8pm 

Eligibility: Entries can be submitted by all artists on our website.

Entry donation: $35.00 per submitted work, paid on small works website. When you click on “submit” the donation information should come up. 


Richard Timperio, director of the Sideshow Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, will judge the paintings, drawings, prints, and wall reliefs.

Elizabeth Avedon, an independent curator and contributor to L’Oeil de la Photographie, will judge photography. 

Entry Specifications:

  • Maximum of 3 works can be submitted by each artist
  • Maximum size in any direction: 20” including frame
  • Paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, and wall relief sculpture (must hang on wall)
  • Must have wire on back and be ready to hang on the wall. Photos, drawings, and prints must be framed in simple wood or metal frames with Plexiglas or glass, and any mats should be white.

Digital entries must be received on the website for judging by: Friday, JANUARY 27, 2017

Deliver selected work to Mishkin Gallery on February 6, 4:00 to 7:00 pm; February 7, 12:00 to 5:00 pm; and February 8, 12:00-5:00 pm. 135 East 22nd Street at Lexington. Selected art must be hand delivered to the Gallery for exhibition. No art sent by mail will be accepted.

Each work must be labeled clearly on the back with: Name, Address, Phone number and e-mail address. Title of work, Date, Medium, and Size.

Pick up all work: Tuesday, March 28, 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, March 29, 4:00-8:00 pm, and Thursday, March 30, 4:00- 8:00 pm (Work cannot be left at the gallery after May 19.)

Conditions: While the Mishkin Gallery, Baruch College and the judges will take care to protect submitted work, Baruch College and the Mishkin Gallery will not insure art works or assume any liability for loss or damage. By submitting work to this exhibition, you agree to all of the above terms and conditions and you agree to hold the Mishkin Gallery, Baruch College, and the judges harmless for any such loss or damage.
