From: Keri Bertino, Director, Baruch College Writing Center
Dear Members of the Faculty:
As the end of the term approaches and final papers roll in, I hope you'll nominate strong student writing from your classes for inclusion in the Writing Center's online journal, i Magazine <http://blsciblogs.baruch.cuny.edu/imagazine/>.
i Magazine publishes the strongest scholarship by Baruch College undergraduate and graduate students in order to foster a community of writers, readers, students, researchers, and teachers. We welcome writing from any discipline, and are especially interested in student work that facilitates teaching and learning. We will relaunch with a new name—The Lexington Review—and a new website in the Spring 2014 semester.
Please email your submissions to email@example.com as MSWord attachments, with “Submission” in the subject line. Professors are encouraged, but certainly not required, to include a nominating note that describes the strengths and potential teaching and learning applications of the piece, as well as the assignment that prompted the writing. Please include the student's name and email address, if available.
Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
