Dear Fall 2014 Faculty:
This memorandum is to inform you that the WU grade submission system is now available online and will be accessible through Monday, December 15, 2014. You may access the site by clicking here
(or by clicking on or pasting https://baruch.az1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_7OqEKBzQEFEiUzb into your browser) and using your Baruch College network user name and password.
The policy regarding the WU grade is as follows:
All students are required to attend every session of their courses. If a freshman or sophomore is absent in excess of twice the number of class sessions per week, the instructor must give the student a WU grade, which counts as an F. The instructor may give a junior or senior a WU grade (the equivalent of an F) for excessive absences. The WU grade may be given by the instructor at any time prior to the start of final exams.
[Note from the Provost’s Office: please try to notify students if they are approaching the maximum number of allowed absences.]
If you have any questions pertaining to the WU policy or how to submit WU grades, please contact Mr. Francisco Ruiz at Francisco.email@example.com.
Please note the WU grade is not applicable to graduate students.
