Out of the Darkness Community Walk

Sponsored by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)

A student-organized Baruch College team is participating in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk sponsored by American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) on Sunday, October 26, 2014, from 10 AM-12 PM.

Participation is a way to honor family and friends, make information about suicide more widely available, and demonstrate the College’s commitment to this important issue. The Baruch team is walking with AFSP, a leading national not-for-profit organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those affected by suicide.
