About the Program
The Lawrence N. Field Center and The Robert Zicklin Center cordially invites you to an exclusive workshop with two C-Suite executives, with the topic on how new businesses can learn to protect themselves in an increasingly digital environment. Hear from Edward Amoroso, Founder and CEO of TAG Cyber, and David Ortiz, the Chief Information Security Officer at Bed Bath and Beyond. They will discuss the consumer perspective and their needs to be protected by business practices implemented.
About the Speakers
Dr. Ed Amoroso is currently Chief Executive Officer of TAG Cyber LLC, a global cyber security advisory, training, consulting, and media services company supporting hundreds of companies across the world. Ed recently retired from AT&T after thirty-one years of service, beginning in Unix security R&D at Bell Labs and culminating as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer of AT&T from 2004 to 2016.
David Ortiz is the Chief Information Security Officer at Bed Bath and Beyond. After graduating NYU with a BS in Computer Science, he began his career as the Director of Systems Management and Enterprise Architecture. David has served in information security and technology leadership roles throughout his career. In these roles, David has established an enterprise information security program aligned with the company initiatives to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.
