From:  Stan Altman, Professor School of Public Affairs

New York, NY – On Sunday, July 19, 2015, from 1-4 PM, the Rubin Museum of Art will host its annual summer Block Party, a day of family art-making, outdoor performances, and free admission to the museum. Inspired by the Rubin’s current exhibition, “Becoming Another: The Power of Masks,” activities and performances will incorporate the theme of transformation, with connections to the art and ideas of the Himalayan region.  The Event is free and open to the public (includes FREE admission to the museum all day) and will happen rain or shine.

For more information visit the Rubin Museum website:  http://rubinmuseum.org/blockparty

The Rubin Museum is located at 150 W. 17th Street (between 6th and 7th Avenues). This block will be closed to traffic during the party hours.
