The Baruch College-Rubin Museum of Art Project
Faculty Lunch Seminar, Thursday, November 19, 12:45pm, Room NVC 6-210
From: Esther Allen, Department of Modern Languages and Comparative Literature
Inaugurated in 2010 under the guidance of School of Public Affairs Prof. Stan Altman, the Baruch College-Rubin Museum of Art Project has compellingly demonstrated the effectiveness of college/cultural institution partnerships. Faculty have accessed innovation grants that enabled them to integrate the arts in more than 50 courses across 13 disciplines, and the Project has now become the model for a citywide cultural network between CUNY and major NYC cultural institutions.
Over lunch, Prof. Altman, Baruch student Larissa Ho, and Rubin Museum representative Tashi Chodrom will offer insight into how faculty and students can join in the Rubin collaboration, and what this new phase of the project means for Baruch.
Lunch will be served and seating is limited so please RSVP to email@example.com.
