Student Development (SD) & Enrollment Management and Strategic Academic Initiatives (EMSAI) National Transfer Student Week
Hosted by SD and EMSAI as well as by numerous programs from across the campus, Transfer Student Week celebrates Baruch’s large population of transfer students from CUNY and campuses around the world. The attached calendar of events captures much that will be of interest to our students, but here is an item for faculty and staff, many of whom were themselves transfer students: for a limited time starting on Tuesday afternoon, October 18, free “I was a transfer student!” buttons will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, one per person, in the second floor atrium of the NVC to any staff or faculty member who would like to celebrate that non-obvious aspect of their identity and their solidarity with many of our students. Transfer Student Week is a feature of Baruch’s (and CUNY’s) Academic Momentum Campaign.
