Fall 2022 Verification of Enrollment Memorandum (September 1, 2022 – September 14, 2022)
September 1, 2022
Dear Fall 2022 Faculty:
The verification of enrollment period for Fall 2022 full-term and seven-week I courses began on Thursday, September 1, 2022 (12:01am) and continues through Wednesday, September 14, 2022 (11:59pm).
During the verification of enrollment process you are required to verify that all students listed on the roster are actually attending your class. The roster contains officially enrolled students for the course and the default value for the enrollment radio button is “Yes, attended.” For any student, who has never attended a class and there is no documented evidence of the student’s participation in the course (such as a completed assignment), select the “No, never attended” radio button.
Verification of enrollment is mandatory in CUNY. It is vital that rosters be certified for each one of the course offerings as it affects compliance with federal regulations and students receiving financial aid. If rosters are not certified, students may lose their financial aid awards. If a roster is not certified, students will be directed to speak with the instructor.
It is against CUNY and Baruch policy for students to attend a course that they are not officially enrolled in. Students attending your course who do not appear on your roster, should be asked to email RegistrationIssues@Baruch.cuny.edu.
You must claim your CUNYfirst account in order to submit your verification of enrollment roster, please click on the following link to claim your account, if you have not already done so:
