IMPORTANT: Annual Activity Reports Due Friday, March 11
February 9, 2022
Dear Faculty Colleagues:
I am writing with an update on annual scholarly activity reporting. Baruch faculty are extraordinarily accomplished and productive. As we do every year, Baruch College reports the annual scholarly activity of our faculty to the CUNY Central Office. It’s important that Baruch be able to report the totality of our annual research and creative accomplishments to CUNY.
Please update your Digital Measures profile by adding any new scholarly and creative activities. The deadline is close of business on Friday, March 11, 2022.
As I have shared with you previously, we are in the process of transitioning from Digital Measures to Interfolio’s Faculty 180 software for faculty activity reporting in subsequent years. Our existing contract with Digital Measures ends next month, and access to the system will be terminated after March 11. The data in Digital Measures will then be migrated to the Interfolio environment, which is why it is vital that your information be as up to date as possible by March 11. The adoption of Interfolio Faculty 180 will enable us to better integrate the annual reporting activity with faculty personnel actions, which are already managed in Interfolio.
Progress on Interfolio Implementation
The Baruch team has begun the implementation phase of our work with the team at Interfolio. I have convened a Faculty Pilot Group of nine Baruch faculty members to ensure that diverse perspectives are represented during the configuration and testing of the new faculty activity reporting system. The group’s membership includes faculty from all three schools and the library, a breadth of disciplines, and a range of levels in both professorial and lecturer ranks. I am grateful for their service in this important project.
Your department chairs were introduced to Interfolio Faculty 180 in November. It is currently scheduled to go live for all full-time faculty in late April or early May this year. At that time, you will be able to access the system, review your migrated data, and add any new activities. Trainings and orientations will be scheduled later in the spring semester and again just before, and throughout, the Fall 2022 term. Rest assured, as this work progresses during the upcoming months, I will keep you informed about the implementation, training opportunities, and resources to ensure a successful user experience.
If you have questions about Interfolio Faculty 180, please email Patricia Price, Associate Provost for Academic Administration and Faculty Development. Thank you for your prompt attention to this important request, and for your collaboration as we make this transition.
