There is information below on current textbook adoption rates (as of 3/22) and more. The three bullets immediately below contain what I believe is the most important information, followed by a message and links from Akademos/VitalSource:

With book orders due by federal mandate by Monday, April 1, Baruch’s adoption rate for Summer 2024 is slightly over 50% and only about 25% for Fall 2024.

Subject: 3/22 CUNY System Adoption Status

Hello CUNY Partners!

The CUNY system adoption percentage is 56% completed adoptions for Summer 2024 and 20% completed adoptions for Fall 2024 across the CUNYs.

The due date for both Summer and Fall adoptions is 4/1/24.

Per The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315), all currently recognized agencies must make a good faith showing of their implementation of the HEOA provisions. Agencies are required to submit, within 45 days of the start of class, information demonstrating that they are compliant with these statutory requirements. Adoptions submitted after that point will be considered outside of the HEOA requirements. Additionally, expectations of adoptions submitted after the due date are that your students may not be getting the best price, and in many cases, only digital items will be available.
