Quirks of the academic calendar at the end of the semester

Dear Colleagues,

Baruch’s academic calendar has been posted since before the start of the semester, but some might not have noticed the quirks of the semester’s end this year.

• Thursday and Friday, December 10 and 11 are Reading Days (i.e., no classes are scheduled).
• On the other hand, classes that usually are scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays will meet on December 12 and 13.
• December 13 is the last day of the semester and the last day students may withdraw from a class with a grade of W.
• The Final Exam period runs from December 14-20.
