Requesting your help to encourage Class of 2020 to take Starr’s Post Graduate Outcomes Survey
May 8, 2020
From: Ellen A. Stein, Director, Starr Career Development Center
Greetings Faculty and Staff,
The Starr Career Development Center would like to request your assistance in encouraging students to complete this year’s Post Graduate Outcomes Survey, an important survey that contributes to Baruch’s rankings, AACSB accreditation, Middle States, and much more. Typically, Starr would ask students to complete this survey as they wait in line to pick up their cap and gown. Since this option is not available to us, this week we will begin sending graduating seniors an email requesting they take the survey. We recognize that students may feel reluctant to complete this especially if they have not found a job yet, and their circumstances are ever evolving. However, we will continue to send them the survey between now and December 30 so they can provide an update if their situation changes. Students who complete the survey will not only receive important emails outlining the services we provide recent alumni and how we can assist those still seeking employment, they will also be entered into a raffle for one of several $25 Amazon e-gift cards. To help spread the word, please feel free to forward this short video Baruch College Class of 2020 Celebrating Your Success to your students and encourage them to complete the survey.
Also, should you hear of students who have landed positions, please encourage them to let us know. At the same time, know that the Starr Career Development Center is doing everything we can to help support the class of 2020, especially those still job searching to find employment. Along with the video, please share the short overview of our services (below) with your students:
