Yin Yoga Practice to Release Emotional and Physical Blockages
Monday, March 6, 1:00pm–2:00pm
In observance and with an abundance of awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week, Baruch College is offering a one-hour decompression session focused on yin/restorative yoga practices. Yin Yoga focuses on emotional and muscular releases. Flowing through Yin Yoga is very slow and calm, allowing the yoga student to deepen the awareness of the body and its perceived limits, through a meditative and extended stillness in each pose. Yin Yoga can be seen as a balance to any dynamic yoga style, does not require any specific yoga level and is suitable for every yoga student.
Presenter: Brianna Strong, Certified Yoga Instructor
