Academic Administration

Welcome to the Office of Academic Administration at Baruch College.

The Office of Academic Administration supports the faculty of Baruch College. We assist the College provost, school deans, and department chairs in managing faculty personnel actions, across the arc of the professional life of the faculty.

Specifically, we manage faculty appointments for new full-time hires​; faculty workload; multi-year adjunct faculty appointments; academic leaves; and personnel actions such as tenure, promotion, and Certificate of Continuous Employment (CCE) for faculty in lecturer titles.

Oftentimes, our work is shared with the Office of Human Resources, the Office of the General Counsel and Labor Designee, the Chief Diversity Officer, and the outside immigration attorney. This is true for retirement and emeritus status, paid parental leave, immigration sponsorship, and other shared faculty personnel actions.
