Faculty Convocation
Faculty members contribute to the vitality of Baruch College through teaching excellence and innovative scholarly activities. Their mentorship, research, writing, and artistic expression in myriad disciplines make them sought after experts and collaborators. Working with other academic institutions, governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and private enterprise, Baruch College faculty contribute to advancing knowledge and society.
Celebrating faculty at the beginning of the academic year is a fall tradition at the College. At Faculty Convocation, we honor and recognize career milestones, creative and research accomplishments, and distinguished teaching. This gathering is also an opportunity for the faculty to welcome new members and hear about upcoming initiatives from the president and provost.
