Faculty Convocation
The vitality of Baruch College stems from our faculty members. Their writing, research, mentorship, and artistic expression in a wide range of disciplines makes them sought after experts, scholars, and collaborators. Baruch College salutes our faculty members’ contributions both on and around campus—whether they work with other academic institutions, governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, or private enterprises—as they advance knowledge and society.
Celebrating faculty at the beginning of the academic year is a fall tradition at the College. At Faculty Convocation, we honor and recognize career milestones, creative and research accomplishments, and distinguished teaching. This gathering is also an opportunity for the faculty to welcome new members and hear about upcoming initiatives from the president and provost.
