Faculty members contribute to the vitality of Baruch College through teaching excellence and innovative scholarly activities. Their mentorship, research, writing, and artistic expression in myriad disciplines make them sought after experts and collaborators. Working with other academic institutions, governmental agencies, not-for-profit organizations, and private enterprise, Baruch College faculty contribute to advancing knowledge and society.
Celebrating faculty at the beginning of the academic year is a fall tradition at the College. At Faculty Convocation, we honor and recognize career milestones, creative and research accomplishments, and distinguished teaching. This gathering is also an opportunity for the faculty to welcome new members and hear about upcoming initiatives from the president and provost.
Our virtual convocation was held on September 17, attracting more than 130 attendees. View the program to see tenure and promotion milestones; new faculty who joined in our three schools; notable grants and accomplishments; and the recipients of the Presidential Excellence Awards for scholarship, faculty service, and teaching.
