Climate Studies and Environment Cluster
The Climate Studies and Environment cluster builds on the foundation of a faculty interest group previously created at Baruch under the name of Baruch Climate Action Collaborative (BCAC). It shares thematic interests and typically invites students affiliated with the Climate Action Scholars (a program created by CUNY with a Baruch chapter). The convener of this cluster is Prof. Mindy Engle-Friedman.
The Climate Studies and Environment cluster was initially convened during Baruch’s Inaugural Conference on Climate Research, Teaching, and Collaboration on Mar. 10, 2023. In AY23-24, four new tenure-track cluster hires joined this cluster.
