A Tour of the World in 6 Artworks: Anti-War Ukrainian Folk Art: Maria Prymachenko’s Dove Asks for Peace
Join Dr. Lauren Jimerson for a closer look at Anti-War Ukrainian Folk Art. Interweaving historic Ukrainian painting with novel painting methods, Prymachenko merged tradition and modernism. The work will also serve as a springboard to discuss the international humanitarian efforts to safeguard Ukrainian cultural heritage. RSVP here.
