Baruch’s on-line electronic grade change application
January 11, 2022
From: Edward D. Adams, Senior Registrar
Dear Faculty,
Baruch’s undergraduate on-line Electronic Grade Change Application is now functional. The electronic grade change follows the same path as the paper/PDF request: instructor>chair> Dean’s Office (if necessary)>Office of the Registrar for recording. You will receive notifications along the way as the grade change goes through the various channels.
Unfortunately, one change that cannot be accommodated at this time is the ability to submit a change of grade from someone in the dual role of Chair and instructor. Therefore, for a Chairperson who is teaching a course, your request for a change of grade will still require that you submit a PDF request. BCTC has informed us that this adjustment should be made during the second phase of the rollout, which is expected to be completed prior to the start of the spring 2022 semester.
The second rollout will include undergraduate updates, as well as the availability for graduate and doctoral programs to submit changes.
Please also be aware that there is a time lag. The files are extracted from CUNY at the end of each day. Therefore, if you make a mistake on your final grade roster, that roster will not be available in your drop-down course menu until 24-48 hours after submission.
The link to the application can be found on the Office of the Registrar’s landing page under “grades”: https://www.baruch.cuny.edu/gradechange/login.aspx. The login will be your Baruch username and password.
If you encounter a technical issue such as a forgotten user ID or password, you will need to contact the Helpdesk. For other assistance, please contact Nicole Bailey or LaTonia Sanders.
Sincerely,
Edward D. Adams
Senior Registrar
