With the fall now upon us, days of teaching missed owing to nor’easters, snow, elevators… loom. Last year, our Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) created a web page designed to help members of the faculty make up for missed classroom time by developing and distributing lessons, activities, or assignments that can be completed independently by students. Many suggestions are relatively easy to introduce, even if this is the first time you’re trying online teaching.

The CTL would be happy to help you with suggestions/assistance for developing online lessons, activities, or assignments to make up for a missed class. You’re also welcome to set up an individual consultation session.

The website may be found at  https://blogs.baruch.cuny.edu/ctl/ctl-make-up-class-guide/

With questions, please contact Allison Lehr Samuels, the CTL’s director at Allison.LehrSamuels@baruch.cuny.edu
