Just a reminder for those of you who plan to submit research proposals this year, especially to the National Science Foundation, the Public Health Service, or other federal agencies:
The CUNY Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research has issued financial disclosure forms that you need to submit with your research proposals under the CUNY Conflicts of Interest policy. CUNY now requires that these forms be filled out annually for multi-year grants, and that all CUNY personnel, including doctoral student, file the disclosure forms. (Thus, if you add a doctoral student to your project after the grant is awarded, you must ask that student to submit a COI form when he or she is hired.)
The complete policy and procedures can be found at: http://www.cuny.edu/research/research-compliance/conflict-of-interest/
NOTE: If you report a conflict, the supplemental form must be submitted simultaneously with the mandatory conflict of interest form.
Please feel free to contact me at 646 312-1204 if you have questions.
