Call for Extended Abstracts

The Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics at the Zicklin School of Business of Baruch College is inviting extended abstract submissions for the 3rd Annual Symposium on Data Analytics on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Baruch College.

Whether you are conducting research in or teaching data analytics and related topics, or are simply interested in the area, we hope that you will participate in this symposium. It will be an exciting opportunity to meet with colleagues, hear about exciting new research, or pedagogy, and to share best practices in data analytics-related work. The inter-disciplinary symposium is open to the academic community of CUNY, NYU, Columbia University, and Fordham University, with the purpose of bringing together those interested in the area of data analytics.

This one-day event will be free to attend and will be open to faculty and doctoral students only. In addition to research presentations, it will include a keynote speech by Claudia Perlich from Two Sigma and a panel discussion featuring industry experts in data analytics.

For a look at last year’s symposium, please go to https://blogs.baruch.cuny.edu/basymposium/

If you would like to be considered for presenting your research project (ongoing or already published) in data analytics, please submit an extended abstract (maximum length 2 pages, single-spaced, excluding references) by midnight, June 3.

To submit your work please go to https://goo.gl/1JdVZQ
