On April 10, 2019 Guttman Community College will hold the fourth annual CUNY-wide Experiential Learning Symposium, Experiential Education: Engaging Underrepresented Populations. The Engaging Underrepresented Populations Symposium will bring together CUNY faculty, staff, administrators and community partners whose goals and roles intersect in designing, implementing, and assessing ELOs in New York City.
Last year we had over 150 registrants and 15 workshops and we are looking forward to the even more this year! To see more information about previous Symposiums, please visit the CUNY Experiential Learning website and continue to check the website for information on this year’s Symposium keynote speaker.
We invite presentation proposals from across CUNY as well as external partners to share best practices and engage in discussion. Sessions are 50 minutes in length. We encourage individual presentations as well as panel discussions. We also encourage presentations that involve students. More detail is provided in the attached Call for Proposals, which will remain open until Sunday, February 24. Submit proposals using the following link: https://tinyurl.com/2019ELOProposal. Please share this information widely.
Symposium registration is now open and is limited to 125 participants, registrar at https://tinyurl.com/2019ELORegistration.
If you have any questions about the conference, please email elo@guttman.cuny.edu.
