Faculty Survey on Transfers
November 12, 2021
About a month ago, most members of the Baruch faculty received an invitation to participate in CUNY’s survey of all faculty regarding transfer students. It began:
“CUNY has been awarded a federal grant to study why such a high percentage of community college students never achieve their goal of a bachelor’s degree. Faculty are an important source of information about the factors involved and how to change them. We are therefore conducting an online faculty survey asking for your views concerning prospective and/or current vertical transfer students.”
Thank you if you have already shared your thoughts on the issues explored in the survey. If not: please know that the original deadline was extended to November 17; you should be getting a reminder on Monday from the survey team. I’m writing now on behalf of the Baruch administration to say that we hope that the thoughts and opinions of Baruch’s faculty will be well represented on the survey.
If you have lost track of previous invitations to complete the survey, which came from FacultySurveyOnStudentTransfer@cuny.edu and contained your personalized link, or if you have a technical problem or concern, please send an email to the Project Administrator, Ms. Rhina Torres at FacultySurveyOnStudentTransfer@cuny.edu.
I hope you have a fruitful yet relaxing weekend!
