Several of you have reminded me of the recent article in the Times on the practice of students paying others to write papers for them. (An irony: the “contract cheating” companies often promise that the results will be “plagiarism free.”)

The International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI) has designated Wednesday, October 16 as the 4th International Day of Action Against Contract Cheating and has set up a free webinar in advance of the event:
