From: Shannon Azzato Stephens & Joey Yearous-Algozin, Co-Editors of The Lexington Review (a Journal of Scholarly Writing from the Baruch College Writing Center)

The Writing Center invites you to nominate students for publication in The Lexington Review, our online journal of student writing.

We’re interested in publishing a variety of genres from across the disciplines, so please send any strong work our way. We work with writers to revise for publication, and submissions don’t have to be perfect—they just need to be something from which other students could learn. While we are happy to receive longer submissions, we will work with writers to excerpt essays longer than 15 pages.

The Lexington Review publishes academic and personal essays by Baruch College undergraduate and graduate students in order to foster a community of writers, readers, students, researchers, and teachers. It also features writing guides that explicate key strategies, and we hope that you find The Lexington Review to be a helpful teaching resource.

Please email nominations to LexingtonReview@baruch.cuny.edu in whatever form you have them. Please include the student’s name and email address, if available; we can follow up with the student to request the submission itself. Submissions are always welcome, and we’ll work through them on a rolling basis.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.

Regards,

Shannon Azzato Stephens & Joey Yearous-Algozin

Co-Editors of The Lexington Review
