Multiple Position Reports for Full-Time Faculty: Fall 2025

Dear Colleague,
The Multiple Position Report (MPR) must be submitted by all full-time faculty members including faculty members on leaves other than long-term disability, each semester. Attached please find the MPR form which you are required to file by Tuesday, September 2, 2025.  Even if you have no multiple position, you must complete, sign and submit Part A of the form to your department chair. If you have activities beyond your regular full-time position, you must complete, sign and submit Part B of the form to your department chair.
The MPR requires the disclosure of compensated and uncompensated activities beyond your regular full-time appointment (whether within CUNY or outside of CUNY). Activities governed by the University’s Multiple Position Policy may be undertaken only upon prior approval of your department chair and your department’s Executive Committee (referred to as Department P&B in the MPR form). To help you understand and comply with the Multiple Position mandate, please review the University’s Multiple Position Policy for details.
Procedure for submitting the MPR form:
  1. Complete the fillable form and sign it electronically in either Part A (no activity) or Part B (activity). If you need assistance with software and electronic signatures, please see our web page on completing and signing digital forms. If you need additional assistance, please contact your school’s business manager.
  2. Please name your file as follows:
  • If you filled out part A: Lastname, Firstname DEPT MPR-A F25
  • If you filled out part B: Lastname, Firstname DEPT MPR-B F25
    • For example:
      • Parker, Jordan ENG MPR-A F25
      • Parker, Jordan ENG MPR-B F25
  1. Please send the completed form by email to your department chair by Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
  2. After review by the department’s Executive Committee (referred to as Department P&B in the MPR form), the Chair (or the Chair’s designee) will forward your MPR to the Dean’s Office for review and signature.
  3. The Dean’s Office will forward properly completed Reports to the Office of Legal Affairs, Labor Relations, and Compliance. The Labor Designee will return improperly completed Reports to the Dean’s Offices.
