Please remember to submit your progress report survey by November 5th
October 18, 2024
Each term, we ask all members of the faculty to identify students who are experiencing academic difficulties (such as earning a grade lower than C or missing assignments) through progress reports.
The progress report survey (available on Navigate360) lists only students in courses that are in their first year at Baruch (freshmen and transfers), and it is designed to proactively contact students who may be disengaged, to commend students who are on track, and to connect students to advisors, tutors, and counselors as early as possible.
The survey was distributed on September 24th. Please respond by November 5th. This work is important: students who seek help from campus resources are more likely to complete their courses successfully and remain enrolled at Baruch. Faculty can flag students for the following recommendations and concerns:
- Attendance concern
- Low Exam/Quiz Grades
- Missing assignments
- Personal concern
- Recommend SACC tutoring
- Recommend Tools for Clear Speech (oral communication support for non-native speakers of English)
- Recommend Writing Center tutoring
- Speak with an Academic Advisor
- Student Performing Well (positive)
Thank you for supporting this effort.
Best,
Serra Hilaire
