Spring 2026 Final Exam Schedule Now Available
March 11, 2026
Dear Faculty,
Attached is the Final exam schedule for Spring 2026.
Thank you for your understanding in the complicated nature of this years final exams.
Finals begin on Saturday, May 16 and ends on Tuesday, May 26.
Departmental level final room assignments had the following issues that needed to be addressed:
- Tuesday, May 19 is a regular day of class. This is due to the high number of Tuesday holidays for this semester
- This has caused the last day of finals to be Tuesday May 26, which is after Memorial day. Every effort was made to avoid having departmental finals on May 26th.
- This also means that there could be no departmental level finals on Saturday May 16, Sunday May 17, Monday May 18, if they had a Tuesday section and did not have accommodations for those Tuesday sections.
- Thursday May 21 night also marks the start of a religious holiday; every effort was made to have as few departmental finals after Thursday May 21 night, and none on Friday May 22 night.
- Some finals had to be moved to different rooms to accommodate the needs of the departmental finals. Efforts were made to keep courses in the same building and near the floors of their normal rooms if possible.
- An extra conflict exam date of Tuesday, May 26 at 10:30am was added to the existing Conflict Exams on Thursday, May 21 to help accommodate students with overlaps. Such as students who are taking CIS 2300 and ECO 1001, which would have both exams at the same time.
- Please stress to your students that they would need to apply for a conflict exam if they meet the below criteria:
- https://baruch.cuny.edu/conflictexams (it will be updated for Spring 2026 information)
- Pursuant to the College’s Rules and Regulations, students who meet any of the following conditions are eligible to apply for the conflict session:
- have two or more examinations at the same time; or
- have three or more examinations on the same calendar day; or
- a Baruch College student who is enrolled in an approved permit course outside of Baruch College and provides official documentation that the course final from the other (host) institution is on the same calendar day as their Baruch College final examination; or
- a Non-Baruch College (visiting) student who is enrolled in an approved permit course at Baruch College and provides official documentation that the course final from their other (home) institution is on the same calendar day as their Baruch College final examination.
- Registration Period:
- The Conflict Examination Registration period is April 8 (8:00 AM) to April 26, 2026 (11:59 PM).
- Late Registration:
-
