From:  Ted Altschuler, Director, Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC)

Dear Colleagues,

Baruch Performing Arts Center – BPAC – is presenting the world premiere of an Off-Broadway play TERRA FIRMA. The company is in residence at Baruch for 8 weeks and begins performances next week.  Here is a discount ticket offer for faculty and staff.

TERRA FIRMA – WORLD PREMIERE – Faculty/Staff Discount $20 Rush Tickets

for the first 6 performances (Regular price $25 – $95):

Sept 27, 28, Oct 1, 2, 3 at 7pm

Sept 29 at 2pm

Offer available in person at box office (theatre entrance: Vertical Campus at 25th Street).

Faculty/Staff ID good for 2 rush tickets (best available seat at time of curtain).

In a Beckettian future, a tiny kingdom is created. This play wrestles with what makes a citizen, a country and a civilization.  Inspired by real events in which an army major claimed an abandoned concrete platform in international waters as his own sovereign nation.  Featuring Andrus Nichols (Sense & Sensibility) “I’m beginning to think she can do anything.” – Ben Brantley, NY Times.
