Deadline extended: for the Provost Innovation Fellows and Faculty Innovation Seed Grants
September 30, 2021
The deadline for the Provost Innovation Fellows and Faculty Innovation Seed Grants has been extended to October 15.
Three Provost’s Innovation Fellows will work directly with the provost on core strategic priorities. Fellows may lead faculty working groups, design or implement programs, develop community partnerships, or other projects as determined in collaboration with the provost. During this inaugural round of fellowships, the work of the fellows will be conducted from the time of appointment through the end of the academic year. Fellows will receive a 3-hour course release during the spring semester* and up to $5000 in flexible support to advance their projects.
Faculty Innovation Seed Grants will support the early-stage development of cross-college (i.e., inter-school) interdisciplinary research proposals. Up to three seed grants will be awarded to three project teams to develop research or creative projects that cross traditional school and disciplinary boundaries and that have the potential for garnering additional external funding or otherwise have lasting impact on a field/fields or on Baruch College itself. Proposals that engage undergraduate students in research and/or integrate research with teaching are particularly welcome.
Please send your questions and your submission to Provost@Baruch.cuny.edu no later than October 15!
